Health for Life and Antiaging Depend on Lifestyle Change

Five relatively easy solutions that you can incorporate into your life
without too much radical change. Then you can decide if you want to
go further on the pathway to radiant health and wellness.
Number 1
- Many of the problems we face after 50 are rooted in the things we
eat. We are almost always over-acid even if we are vegetarians. Over-acid
pH is easily changed with my system of correcting for the acid food
we eat. After our pH has been more alkaline
for a while, the increased energy and upbeat outlook that we will have,
will make it easier to change the actual diet that is causing the problem.

you how to correct the problem of acid ph in an easy, inexpensive way.
Number 2 -
It's important to have a good multiple vitamin and mineral supplement
to cover the bases in your nutrition. But most
of the vitamins that people take in pill form are not well absorbed.
You can't have health for life without having your nutritional needs
covered. I have been researching liquid vitamins for a year now and

Number 3
- Most of us are low in magnesium and overly
high in calcium. Magnesium is necessary for every electrical
exchange in our body. Read the magnesium page
(especially if you have heart problems) and add some magnesium drops
to your drinking water. Adding magnesium to your diet is a quick fix
that will make you feel better within a week plus it has antiaging properties
as well.
Number 4 - It's probably time to
do an internal cleanse. This is a topic that can be scary but
it's absolutely essential for health in this time of increasing toxicity
and foolish eating. We are killing ourselves with what we put into our
body that it does not recognize and can't deal with. The simplest thing
is to stop eating anything processed and to take a green
powder product that will gradually eliminate the toxins in your
body.
Number 5
- Saving the best til last - now it's time to start moving. Our bodies
fill up with toxins of all kinds, from the air, water and non-food we
eat. Toxins are removed by the lymph system
which surrounds the cells, and expelled through the skin or the excretory
system.
The lymph fluid doesn't have a heart or
lungs to pump it around the body. It relies on your moving around to
keep the system going. Any kind of movement is fine, it's not picky.
As your muscles tighten and release, they squeeze
the fluid and get the waste products of every cell in your body moving
on out. You don't have to go for a hike. In fact, exercising
three times a week doesn't do your lymph system much good, although
it's great for your muscles and bones. But getting up from the computer
or the couch and doing some gardening or stacking wood or cleaning house
is good for your lymph system.
What I do is set the oven timer and get up
from the computer every hour and bounce on my rebounder (mini-trampoline)
for one or two minutes. I've tried everything, from the gym to home
videos, but I really don't love exercise - it's boring! But I can do
one minute an hour. Anyone can do one minute
an hour! And I've found a new rebounder accessory that makes
even injured, overweight people feel safe on the rebounder. For

Rebounding breaks up my day and gives me
much more energy. If you don't have a rebounder then just do anything
else you want for one minute- dance, go up and down a flight of stairs,
jumping jacks. My mother just marches in place bringing her knees as
high as she can. It's the regularity of it that is the miracle. You
don't think about it or argue with yourself. The timer rings and you
get up and do it. I was a movement therapist
for years and I saw clearly, how simple changes in the way people moved,
could transform their lives.
Recently I took up NIA dance and
I love it! I go for an hour a day, 5 days a week and my life
has totally changed. It is an exercise form that brings me pure joy!

We all have choice.
Instead of thinking that drugs and pills will solve all our health problems,
we have to take a good look at our lives and be willing to make some
lifestyle changes.
There is so much
proof coming out daily now that lifestyle change can accomplish more
than most drugs - with innumerable side benefits - instead of
negative side effects.
Here's a good story - The testing on a diabetes drug showed that it
improved blood sugar levels by 30% over one of the control groups. But
the other control group that used simple diet and exercise solutions
actually improved by 60%. This was, of course, not mentioned in the
drug ads. The diabetes disease infrastructure said that people would
never change their lives that much.
Well, I think differently. We
all have the power to change our lives if given sufficient motivation.
Some of us need the carrot to get us going, and some the stick.
It's my strong belief
that our bodies can heal themselves, if we give them the right tools
and don't put negative thoughts in their way. Many people are
pretty far from believing in any personal power in the health area;
they have given their power away to doctors and drug companies. Well,
power corrupts, so now we begin to see the results daily in the newspapers.
With the simple tools above you will begin to see improvement in the
way you feel within days and you can start taking your power back.
With all the information available from the
Net, we can research anything on the planet. But, most people over 50
are busy, stressed, tired or lack computer skills. Then there is so
much conflicting information. Notably conflicts between old-style medical,
AMA solutions and alternative solutions. So sites written by people
like me with a passionate interest in staying
vibrantly alive until it's time to go, are the best solution.
Many of my customers from my other two sites
have asked me to do a website on general good health practices. I have
been in the health field most of my life and have a wealth of knowledge
to share and I know that this site will attract those people who are
ready to hear. I am offering a few products for sale, some I make or
designed myself, but I am mostly offering information that I have found
useful.
I have been reading
everything I could find about health and improving the quality of my
life since the '70s. I've bought newsletters from all the alternative
doctors and health advocates around. Most of them have degenerated into
sales letters for their latest fad vitamin, herb or supplement. I've
tried so many and most don't make any difference. But it is really big
business now, $35-80 for a month's supply of the latest wonder supplement.
If you had bought everything recommended in
the last newsletter I got, it would have cost $410- a month!
No matter how many
handfuls of pills you take every day you won't achieve vibrant well-being
with them. They are at best small chunks taken out of healing
foods and at worst; chemical soup. One of the few exceptions I have
found is the green powder I sell, made
from whole green juices with just the water subtracted. Most people
don't get the green foods they need in their normal diet - iceberg lettuce
is the only green food that passes most people's lips. There is very
little nutrition in that and it is one of the most widely pesticided
crops grown.
To create health
and wellness you can check your pH Balance first, that's concrete and
easily changed. Then you could add some magnesium to your water and

Knowledge that you have integrated into your
life becomes your own to share. I remember anything that strikes me
as important but I may not remember where I read it. So if you read

a search engine and track it further. Then try it out and make it your
own; until then it's just more words on the page.
